The Shaw NOM is a citizen led neighborhood outreach organization dedicated to crime reduction through public safety promotion and best practices, formed in August 2018.
In coordination with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office and other neighborhood NOMs, Shaw NOM volunteers are committed to reducing the ripple effect of crime and improving the quality of life in Shaw and surrounding neighborhoods. The Shaw NOM has organized various efforts including a successful campaign against celebratory gunfire in Shaw; and a community meeting regarding a proposed “Ceasefire” project across the city of St. Louis. In addition to working with city officials, the Shaw NOM collaborates with other organizations including the Tower Grove East NOM and the Tower Grove Heights NOM.
Want Private Cameras for Your Home?
One of the biggest challenges in St. Louis criminal prosecutions, is the lack of witness testimony. Quality cameras offer another option in helping to ensure victims get the justice they deserve. Cameras can’t be intimidated and they don’t lie. Private cameras can be a very useful tool in working to reduce/solve crime in our neighborhoods. This is why the Shaw NOM is highly recommending ForeFront Blue Solutions to neighbors that are interested in having private cameras installed. ForeFront Blue Solutions is a St. Louis Detective Owned and Operated company. The company’s products and service are exceptional. License plate reading capability, high resolution capability, superb night footage, audio, and warranties on cameras & service. Far superior to the popular store bought camera options.
